UFC 110 - Anderson Silva picks Wanderlei to stop Bisping’s charge

UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva has given his thoughts on the upcoming fight between Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping later this month at UFC 110 in Australia, saying he expects “The Axe Murderer” to get the job done.

Speaking to Tatame Magazine, “The Spider” said:

“Wanderlei is on a new phase, he saw a lot of things, and he has to do what he always did: to train a lot, to go there and gives his best.”

On training together following the public falling out between the two men last year, Anderson explained:

Unfortunately my life is full of stuff, I have my things, he has his... Sometimes there’s no time, we doesn’t match the appointments but I’d like to help him with this fight. Unfortunately I can’t, but he has a good team. Master Rafael Cordeiro is supporting on techniques and he will be okay on this fight. I hope he brings this victory to Brazil.”

Anderson is set to return to octagon action himself in April when he takes on fellow countryman, Vitor Belfort in the main event at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi. Can “The Spider” defend his title in a division that’s sprung to life in the past few months?
