Lesnar dominates Mir to become the undisputed heavyweight champ

It was the moment the entire MMA world had been waiting for, had analysed and speculated over. Could Brock evolve and mature enough as a fighter to take out the more technically skilled and experienced Frank Mir?

In a word yes.  Round 1 was all Brock, following a brief feeling out process, taking Mir down and with controlled, short punches put a beating on Frank Mir. Mir looked relaxed the whole time, but was undeniably, taking a lot of damage.

The second round showed more promise for Mir, landing effective strikes and even a flying knee that looked to visibly stun Brock. Lesnar pressed Mir up against the cage and unloaded devastating strike after devastating strike to force the ref to step in and hand Lesnar the win.

As previously stated, it is expected that Lesnar's next fight will be against the winner of the UFC 102 fight between former UFC heavyweight champ Randy Couture and former interim champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
